Our annual promotional display at the Eltham Centre featured working and static models from many of our members.
Three models built by our late Chairman and founder member Adrian Ashford were featured on the upper and middle shelves: A steam wagon, windmill and 2–4–2 tank locomotive.
Working models on the lower shelf, which members of the public could activate by placing their hand over a sensor behind the glass, were Les Chatfield’s beam engine, Brian Leach’s stamping mill, and Tim Surtell’s fire-fighting tugboat.
Completing the display were Alan Wenbourne’s gentlemen’s bicycle and John Gay’s steam wagon.
