Most Meccano modellers will be aware of the many Lorry models Liverpool made over the years in the manuals.
This model is based on the eight wheel lorry that appeared between 1947 - 1959 in several variations. The model is totally freelance in build and uses elements of other lorry subjects that I have built over the years.
It features four-wheel steering, though I do not think it is quite right geometrically.
A single rear axle using a differential from the South African car Model Plan by MW Models is driven well by the Dave Taylor pile geared motor sold in 2002.
