Motorised Articulated Lorry
Built by Brian Elvidge
This model was developed from my Miniature Peterbilt Lorry models to a larger scale of about 1:17, and is based loosely on a European traction unit and two-axle forty-foot semi-trailer. The semi-trailer has retractable jockey wheels controlled by a hand wheel. The traction unit is powered by a three-stage pile geared motor and can also be steered.
