Looking for anew subject to model recently, I came across these mini-models on the Internet. They were built by Alan Esplen, on whose website they appear. I acknowledge help also from the Peterbilt website.
I have tried to closely reproduce the models as far as my parts will allow.
I have built a 6-wheel tractive unit of Peterbilt type of typical North American appearance.
To couple with the tractive unit there is a flatbed semi-trailer, a fridge box trailer, and a triple axle skeletal semi-trailer for shipping container transport.
The last three photos show a box van, a newly designed tanker, and a tipping trailer. In this scale, designing working features like tipping is not easy.
