Sheerlegs

A set of Sheerlegs, from a 1930s set № 4 manual. Although I have seen model sheerlegs described from time to time, I have never built one because it didn?t seem very interesting, having only one movement. I made this one as an exercise to make a crane that would lift a heavy load. Plans to make the mechanism realistic with engine and boiler etc have been shelved.
