The Crane Building Kit Models Secretary’s Challenge
This Challenge took place at our September 2006 Meeting
This Challenge was to build a model from the contents of the Crane Building Kit. This came out in 1976 and was in the Meccano Multikit range. It was up to members what type of model they constructed — it didn’t have to be a crane.
Many of the 300 part numbers are the same as original Meccano, but in yellow or other finish instead of zinc. It was up to members what colours they used. The contents list is as follows (original Meccano numbers in brackets where appropriate):
