Dancers End Twin-Beam Engine

This model of the Dancers End engine at the London Museum of Water and Steam is built to 1:12 scale.

The prototype was built in 1867 and originally installed at Chiltern Hill Waterworks, Dancers End, to provide water supply from a well. It was re-erected at the museum in 1979.

The twin cranks are, unusually, at 180° to give a more uniform delivery of water.
