Furnace Charging Machine

This model was built up from the plans in the Meccano Manual Set 9 for the period 1945–54. The model shown in the photos is reproduced substantially as built with a few minimal modifications to the movable carriage and other places. This uses parts that were not available in 1950.
On the whole a good subject, works well. A useful suggestion for exhibitions using poor condition parts for visitor involment turning the handles.
