Tower Crane
Built by Guy Loveridge in January 2015
The model is built around two vertical 12½” strips and one horizontal 12½” strip. Most of the model is ½” wide; the counterweight is a channel bearing (part 160) and the trolley is a slide piece (part 50). Although a bit temperamental, the crane performs the three basic movements of rotation, hoisting and level luffing.
