Monoplace F3 Car
Built by Geoff Carter in January 2009 for the Set Plus One Secretary’s Challenge
From a French Pocket Meccano set.
I used the longer bolts for the exhaust pipes, and had to use an find an extra long bolt to hold the steering wheel (brass ½” pulley) in place!
Apart from the brass pulley, other differences in the French set are:
- 4 small plastic ‘push- fit’ wheels.
- Standard strips, instead of narrow.
- A proper (wire) screwdriver and spanner.
