Detached House

This was built in jovial response to a very realistic iced-cake version of this classic model that a member took to a Bayko Club meeting (yes, a real edible cake). My model worked out about 50% larger in each dimension than than the Bayko version or the cake, and uses green, red and silver Meccano parts to approximate to the Bayko post-war Plimpton-era colours. A little respraying helped here. The roof uses large numbers of hinged plates (convenient), and even larger numbers of triangular plates (not so convenient). Unlike the cake, it has now survived two meetings.
