Sliding Bed Car Recovery Truck

A 1:10 scale model of a Ford IVECO lorry, with a Champion 3 ton sliding bed, built from the M. W. Models Modelplan leaflet № 159, designed by Terry James.
The model went together very well, as per the instructions, without any problems at all, keeping to the № 10 set contents around which the original was designed, except for using extra collars in place of small-fork-pieces, pawls-withboss, etc.
Although it misbehaved itself at the meeting (due to the Adrian having not fully tightened a grub-screw when making a minor adjustment earlier on!) it normally works very well. It is driven by a motor-with-gearbox, powered by 9 volts worth of AA-size batteries in holders under the cab floor.
