Hand Operated Double-Ended Excavator
Built by Brian Elvidge in January 2002
This model was originally found as pencil instructions with a date of 1971 on them.
I have rebuilt it extensively and it may not yet be quite complete, but it is fully functional.
The model has a large front bucket and a rear trenching bucket assembly, all operated by hand wheels or handles via cords or linkages. The tractor’s steering also operates.
