The Bucket Dredger “Ajax”

I had just completed a floating crane, and I thought it might be nice to make another interesting ship of the type that may be seen about harbours.
After a bit of searching on the Internet I came across the Ajax. The only trouble was, with it being the Christmas holidays, I was unable to get any detailed information. However, I decided to have a bit of fun and built it anyway.
This is not my usual model — I have not bothered with a colour scheme, but have just used parts that were just laying around.
Building a waterline model of a dredger means that one has to imagine the rest of the bucket chain underwater — this is why the front hoist ends abruptly at water level.
It would be nice to get detailed information and build a scale model about twice this size, but for now this is my Christmas fun model.
