Travelling Crane
Built by Eric Smith in March 2008 for the Braced Girders Secretary’s Challenge
From an early instruction manual with modifications.
The trolley is driven by an electric motor that collects its power from bus bars mounted on insulated strips.
The changeover from hoist to travel is by a bell crank which is operated by hand with two pull cords.
