Archimedes Ball Roller

This is a copy of a model built by Craig Longhurst, based on an original design by Les Pattison.
The balls are circulated continuously, being carried up the vertical slide by the archimedian screw around the outside of the central column, which they drop down inside on reaching the opening at the top of the spiral, emerging at the bottom of the column.
