Two Horse Race

This is a two-player racing game I am working on. Each player will have a handle to turn in order to be the first to reach the end of the track. At the end lamps (or LEDs) will indicate the winner and the horses will automatically return to the start of the track.
I am currently working on the electronics and hence the wiring is not complete enough to show it working in a meaningful way.
For transport it will be designed to break into eight parts, and there will be connectors for the wiring between sections.
Once I am happy with the design I will rebuild it with refurbished parts.
