Cup Holder
Built by Richard Marsden in March 2020 for the Mug Holders Secretary’s Challenge
- Tilt mechanism to facilitate drinking.
- Retractable cover.
- Can be fixed to any convenient surface (e.g. best dining room table) through holes in base, using suitable wood screws.
- When so fixed, can be used to permanently reserve seat (unusual appearance may deter occupancy of adjacent seats too).
- As further deterrent to unwanted company, user can start explaining that supporting framework is a practical example of Ptolemy’s geometric theorem and offer to demonstrate proof of same.
