Giant Swing Boat
Built by John Gillam in September 2006
Based on the 1954–61 № 5 set model 5.7.
The most significant modification was to construct the floor of the boat from 2 197 strip plates. The original used 4 189s, 2 214s and 2 straightened 200s. This, of course, left big gaps in the floor.
In addition, the frame of the boat was constructed from № 8 angle girders rather than № 1 strips.
